I’m sure they will still fight. I just think it’s the fight that captures everyone’s attention inside and outside of the boxing world. It’s a crossover fight, it’s the biggest heavyweight fight in decades. It draws huge numbers and it’s the move they both clearly want to make.
Fury will be favourite to beat Wilder again but the American still has that equaliser in his right hand. Joshua against Usyk is a great fight and not easy for the Brit. Don’t be shocked if you see Joshua vs Whyte instead, though. If both Fury and Joshua win, don’t get injured, then I expect to see the fight in December.

When they’ve got that much money on the line, surely it’s got to happen. The worry is that it’s heavyweight boxing, anything can happen. I’d like to think that Fury can get past Wilder in similar fashion to the second fight. If it’s Usyk for ‘AJ’, it’s a very tricky fight but I’d like to think he wins. Then we have the big one.
You’ve got two additional hurdles. Fury should beat Wilder. Joshua-Usyk, the mandatory, I am a bit of a fan of it happening. There is a bit of talk about Joshua-Dillian Whyte. You’ve just got to hope that one of them doesn’t lose. I think it’ll happen, within the next 18 months they’ll fight each other.
