Fuzile vs Ogawa officially set for Lopez-Kambosos DAZN card

Fighting

The early reports from a couple of days ago as usual turned out to be true, as Matchroom Boxing have officially announced that Azinga Fuzile will face Kenichi Ogawa in the Lopez-Kambosos co-feature on Nov. 27, live on DAZN from New York’s Hulu Theater, which is part of Madison Square Garden but let’s not get it twisted and keep acting like it’s Madison Square Garden.

Fuzile (15-1, 9 KO) and Ogawa (25-1-1, 18 KO) will fight for the vacant IBF 130 lb title, which was lost on the scales by Joseph Diaz Jr in February. Diaz and Shavkat Rakhimov then went to a draw, leaving the belt vacant.

A vacant title fight between Rakhimov and Ogawa was ordered and scheduled, but Rakhimov pulled out due to injury, and the IBF ordered Fuzile — who suffered a very controversial loss to Rakhimov in 2019 — into that spot.

It’s a good fight, and makes for a nice co-feature on Matchroom and DAZN Present Teofimo Lopez: One Night Only!
