Undefeated prospect Ernesto “Tito” Mercado (11-0, 10 KOs) of Pomona, CA faces battle tested veteran Carlos Manuel Portillo (23-4, 17 KOs) of Asuncion, Paraguay, on Saturday, August 26 at the Lumcolor ‘Phoenix Center’ in Ontario, CA.

The 21-year-old Mercado, fighting out of Pomona, CA, returns home following a dominant ten-round decision victory over perennial contender Xolisani Ndongeni on July 8, 2023 in Managua, Nicaragua.
Prior to the win over Ndongeni, the promotional free agent had knocked out all ten of his opponents since turning professional in July 2021.
