The unbeaten pair meet in a mouth-watering battle to determine the top dog in the division, with WBO ruler Rodriguez and IBF king Edwards defending their titles for the first and fourth times respectively and both appearing in their first unification bouts.
Rodriguez and Edwards came face-to-face for the first time in Orlando on and will be part of the broadcast on a card on DAZN topped by Super-Lightweight star Richardson Hitchins facing Jose Zepeda.
The pair will then continue the media tour for the event in London next week, with media activities to be confirmed around the fight week for Jai Opetaia’s IBF World Cruiserweight title defense against Jordan Thompson at the OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday September 30, live worldwide on DAZN.
