Boxing News’ 2022 Prospect of the Year: Adam Azim

Latest

1 Adam Azim

FOR a prospect to separate themselves from the crowd, sometimes it’s about more than simply winning fights. Sometimes it’s as much about the manner in which they win and the style they display in the process. This is never more apparent than in the case of Adam Azim, a super-lightweight who won five fights in 2022, each of them by stoppage inside three rounds (three in the first), and demonstrated in the process a kind of flamboyance and swagger that has some comparing him to “Prince” Naseem Hamed. While that, at this early stage, is probably a bit much, there can be no arguing that Azim, as far as prospects go, generates an excitement quite different from the rest.
