Fighting

Golden Boy have formally announced the full undercard for their January 27 show, which is headlined by Jaime Munguia vs John Ryder in a 12-round super middleweight clash from Phoenix’s Footprint Center.

Two world titles will be contested, as WBO 105 lb titleholder Oscar Collazo and IBF flyweight titlist Gabriela Fundora make defenses.

Collazo (8-0, 6 KO) will put his minimumweight title on the line against Nicaragua’s Reyneris Gutierrez (10-1, 2 KO) in a 12-round bout.

Fundora (12-0, 5 KO) will make the first defense of her belt against 41-year-old Christina Cruz (6-0, 0 KO). Fundora just signed a co-promotional deal with Golden Boy, as the sides hope to make an undisputed fight with Marlen Esparza later this year.

The DAZN-streamed main card broadcast will also feature super middleweight Darius Fulghum (9-0, 9 KO) vs Alantez Fox (28-5-1, 13 KO) and a 122 lb fight between David Picasso Romero (26-0-1, 15 KO) and Erik Ruiz (17-9-1, 7 KO). Both of those fights are set for 10 rounds.
